So yesterday, we told you guys about the news of Cave9′s semi-sudden plans to change location. Turns out, owner Aaron Hamilton had a lot of factors in mind. Adam had this to say of his conversation with Aaron:
“It looks like the new Cave 9 will be in the upstairs portion of GreenCup Books. He says it is due to the abundance of crime in the area where Cave 9 is now, cheaper rent, and the freedom to put on shows more often (they’re restricted to weekends only right now because of Alabama Art Supply’s need for the space during the week).”

Sounds good to me! Boo on crime, yay on cheaper rent and more freedom!
seems odd to me… hopefully we won’t be writing about the bookstore ceiling collapse of ’09. that is not what i’d call a new building.
Is this place close to where Big Dan’s was?
Hopefully this will also cue more people into what a great place Greencup Books is for the community.
(I’m stalking you guys from now on, too)
