the obligatory “I Fought the Law and the Law Won” (originally by Sonny Curtis & The Crickets, but you can twerk it to the Clash or the Dead Kennedys… whatever’s clever.)
- “Criminal” by Fiona Apple
- “Holloway Jail” by The Kinks
- “Jailbreak” by Thin Lizzy
- “Folsom Prison Blues” – Johnny Cash (or “Cocaine Blues” but that’s a little intense for an SEC indictment)
- “Locked Up” by Akon (“they won’t leeeet me oooooout…”)
- “Long Trip Alone” by Dierks Bentley (because I like his hair)
- “Chain Gang” by Sam Cooke
- “Not Even Jail” by IIIIINNNNTTTTERRRPPPPOOOLLLL (my favorite!)
- “Tupelo County Jail” by the Old 97s
- “Mirror Mirror (Damsel in Distress)” by the Violent Femmes
- “What Jail is Like” by The Afghan Whigs
- “Back on the Chain Gang” by the Pretenders
- “Mama Tried” by Merle Haggard
