I enjoyed the Duke Spirit’s showmanship most of all. However, it was exciting enough hearing Chris opine while shooting, “I think I really like these guys” as the Eulogies played.

If you missed the Duke Spirit set, I’m willing to bet some unhealthy amount of money I don’t have that you will be at least 75% as content by listening to their albums Cuts Across the Land (2005) and their newest Neptune. Both probably have a production value most bands dream of, given the dream team of touring and label mates these guys share.

”Mayday“, a collaboration track between QOTSA’s resident DJ U.N.K.L.E. and Leila Moss of Duke Spirit will be on repeat in your head if you ever listen to it. AHA! Siren song FTW!
